International Physically Challenged
Sportsman’s Association (IPCSA)
|
The program began with a donated
hunt to South Africa for two physically challenged youth hunters and with the
help of numerous sponsors, therefore enabling the expansion of the IPSCA list
of projects and goals. The Hunters Journal Television filmed two separate
hunts that focused on the determination, spirit and the can-do attitude of the
physically challenged hunter while highlighting some of the many obstacles
that must be overcome when dealing with outfitters that might not be as
prepared as they think to host a Physically Challenged Sportsman.
During year 2002 IPSCA will be partnering with Buckmasters American Deer
Foundation (BADF) and the Ted Nugent USA Physically Challenged programs to
once again host a hunt in South Africa with Sandhurst Safaris. IPSCA will also
be working with The Step Outside Program (NSSF) in their efforts to encourage
people both physically challenged and not, to Step Outside and learn about the
outdoors and how to share your knowledge and love of the outdoors with others.
