Eugène Lapointe has written a Compendium of
conservation thought, opinion and analysis under the title "Embracing
the Earth's Wild Resources". This book covers a global conservation
vision and takes a very broad-brush approach to explaining the state of
conservation and what today passes for environmentalism.
 The English version has just been published by the
Éditions du Scribe, Sherbrooke, Canada. All distribution and sales will be
handled by IWMC in our new online bookstore. Further details will soon be
posted on IWMC.org in the new bookstore section.
The French and Spanish
versions will also be released shortly - while the Japanese and Chinese
versions are currently being translated. We shall keep you informed
