Biographies

Professor Sung Wang is research professor in Mammalogy and Wildlife Conservation, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is Executive Vice Chairman, Endangered Species Scientific Commission, PRC; a member of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development and Co-chair, Biodiversity Working Group, IUCN Councillor and Regional Vice Chairman of SSC.

Dr Xie Yan is chief, Division of Nature Reserve Management, Department of Wild Fauna and Flora Protection, State Forest Administration (SFA). Dealt with conservation and protection activities for China's wetland and waterfowl nature reserve. Carried out and implemented the GEF NRMP Project in China.
