Biography

Meriden Maranan is a Filipino national who holds a Bachelor of Science in Botany at the University of the Philippines and Bachelor of Laws at the University of the East. Presently holds the position of Supervising Ecosystems Management Specialist, designated as the Chief, Wildlife Regulation Section of the Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau, Department of Environment and Natural Resources. As such is primarily involved in the formulation of policies on the conservation of wildlife resources and regulation of wildlife utilization and trade.
